Formica High-Pressure Laminate comes in two main grades, each designed for specific uses:

  • Postforming Grade: Formica Postforming laminate (0.9mm) or Horizontal Grade works for both horizontal and vertical indoor uses. Designed for kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, desktops, and table tops.
  • Vertical Grade: Formica Vertical Grade laminate (0.7mm) is made for vertical surfaces and light-duty horizontal uses. Best for cabinet fronts, desk sides, wall panels, doors, and restaurant booth backs. Use rigid adhesives like PVA (wood glue) instead of contact cement.
