FAQ

Yes. Our unfinished veneer edge banding can be stained or painted to match or contrast your existing furniture or cabinetry.

Our pre-glued edging comes with heat-activated adhesive. Simply use a household iron on a medium setting to melt the glue and adhere the strip to the edge.

A dedicated edge banding trimmer is recommended for clean, precise cuts. However, a sharp utility knife and fine sandpaper can also work in a pinch.

Consider the wood species used in your project or the desired aesthetic. Oak is popular for its grain, while maple and birch offer a lighter, modern look. Walnut and mahogany provide rich, dark tones.

Thickness depends on the core material and project requirements. For most furniture, 0.5 mm or 1 mm works well. Thicker options (1.5 mm or 2 mm) offer extra durability and a pronounced wood edge.

  • Veneer: is a natural wood product that can be stained or painted and is considered a renewable resource
  • PVC: is a synthetic material known for its moisture resistance and cost-effectiveness.

For furniture and cabinetry that will be exposed to high humidity or potential spills, it is advisable to utilize PVC edge banding to ensure durability and longevity. read more about type of edge banding
