How to Choose the Right Edge Banding
Selecting the correct thickness and width depends on your application, equipment, and desired look.
Edge Banding Thickness:
- 0.5mm — Light-duty applications. Works well with manual application. Best for shelving, closet interiors, and low-traffic surfaces.
- 1mm — The most popular choice for cabinet shops. Compatible with most automatic edgebanders. Provides a clean, durable finish for cabinet doors and drawer fronts.
