Formica High-Pressure Laminate (HPL) is available in two primary grades; Postforming and Vertical. Each grade is engineered for specific applications, offering unique characteristics to meet diverse design and functional requirements.

General Purpose Grade : Formica General Purpose laminate grade (0.9mm) or Horizontal Postforming Grade (HGP) is a little thicker, can be used for both horizontal and vertical interior applications such as desktop surfaces, Kitchen countertops, Bathroom vanities, islands, Table tops.

Vertical Grade: Formica Vertical Grade laminate sheet (.7mm) is designed for vertical interior applications and light-duty horizontal surfaces, best suited for cabinet fronts, Vertical surfaces of desks, wall panels, doors, and Restaurant booth backrests, Contact cement adhesive is not recommended use rigid adhesives like PVA (wood glue).

High-pressure Laminate Selection Guide

Postforming (HGP), 0.035" - Postform to a 1/2" radius for smooth edges without visible seams; ideal for kitchen countertops.
Vertical (VGP), 0.027" - For vertical surfaces and light-duty horizontals: cabinet doors, panels, and backsplashes..
